Construction
At MTI, all of our race and pleasure series boats are the product of industry leading computer-aided engineering and structural analysis coupled with real world experience and testing in all types of conditions both on and off the racecourse. And while each of our finished creations is truly unique they all share the same highly advanced structural and lamination process which begins with a host of exclusive features like an aircraft grade balsa core structure followed by a vacuum bagged epoxy lay-up with the latest in multi-axial stitched fabrics all hand laminated then post cured in a climate controlled environment in a process that is exclusive to all MTI hulls. For a fit and finish that is beyond comparison, all of our interior and exterior laminated panels are hand finished from computer designed molds and fixtures by expert craftsmen one at a time. And for the ultimate in strength and durability, all of our hulls and decks are bonded together and finished in a high gloss white gelcoat before the custom paint and graphics are applied in our new state-of-the-art paint department. Each boat begins to take on it's own identity as it is being rigged by our expert craftsmen. We take the time to work with clients on a one-to-one basis to insure every detail meets their wishes. Every aspect of the rigging job right down to every last nut and bolt is assembled with pride and finished perfectly. Our in-house upholstery and interior division integrates even the smallest details like fabric textures, colors, and stitching patterns into the overall look and scheme of each custom boat. Every aspect of the construction process at MTI is specialized and only the highest quality materials, products, and hardware are used in our boats. |
